What's New At The Koetting Associates?
New Web Site
As the summer gets underway we are happy to welcome you to our new, redsigned web site. We hope you will find it eduactional and easy to use. In addition to informing you about our practice, we hope you will take advantage of the numerous links to learn more about eye health and eye care. You will also notice that in order to provide more convenient service to our contact lens wearing patients, you may order your replacement contact lenses on-line. Simply click on the "Order Contact Lenses" tab and fill out and submit the on-line form and we will take care of the rest. We can arrange to send your new lenses to your home or place of work.
Highway 40
The Highway 40 (I-64) reconstruction project is moving right along and should be finished on or ahead of schedule later this year. Currently the highway is closed to the east between Brentwood Boulevard and Kingshighway. To access our office from the west you may take the new I-64 and exit at Brentwood. From the north you may take I-170 south and exit on Brentwood or Eager Road. There is no change for our patients coming from south county. The current phase of construction most affects our patients coming from the east. The best way for those patients to travel to our office is to take I-44 west from downtown and exit at Elm. Take Elm north to Kirkham. Make a right on Kirkham (which turns into Brentwood Boulevard) and follow to our office just north of Manchester Road. Using this route our practice is only two miles from I-44.
Eyemed Insurance
The Koetting Associates is happy to announce that we will once again be accepting Eyemed vision insurance. This change is effective June 1 and our office will be happy to help you determine your specific benefits under the plan. If you have questions or would like to make an appointment please call us at 314-863-0000.
Summer Eyewear Event
On Friday, June 12 we will be having an eyewear event from 10 AM to 4 PM featuring the entire Aspex Eyewear Collection. These high fashion frame lines feature attachable sun clips so they me be used for general wear or outdoor wear for sun protection, just in time for summer activities. We will be offering a professional courtesy on the frame and sunclip combinations. Please feel free to drop in that day if you have an updated and valid prescription or call our office for an appointment for an eye examination so you may take advantage of this special event. We look forward to seeing you there.
Contact Lens Update
You may have seen recent advertisements for "multifocal contact lenses". These are lenses that are designed for patients who require reading glasses or bifocals. The Koetting Associates has been involved in the FDA clinical trials of many of these designs and would be happy to discuss options with you. Rest assured, if you are over the age of 40 and do not want to be reliant on glasses, there is likely a contact lens solution for you.
